Space Nelson: Making New Fans More Fun
Progressive rockers Space Nelson have discovered that literally making new fans is much more fun and much easier than attracting new fans with odd time signatures, complex arrangements and involved themes. Singer Jon Piasentin and Drummer Eric "Fish" Fischer took the initiative in implementing the new strategy in 2003 and it's finally paying off. Jon's wife gave birth to Jack Piasentin on Feb 16th, 2004 and Eric's wife gave birth to Lily Fischer on March 6th! Inspired by their success, keyboardist Pete Hopersberger has announced that his wife is due to deliver a new SN fan in July of 2004! (Note: picture not an actual SN fan)The wives of Space Nelson (who shall remain nameless lest musical competitors attempt to coopt their "services") were unavailable for comment on their husband's new fan-making scheme. But reliable sources report that that all three were actually in favor of making new fans, with the understanding that Jon, Eric and Pete will carry the next batch to term and deliver them naturally - without anesthesia.

Bassist Gary Lock is still in favor of making fans the old-fashioned way - one big fat bass riff at a time!

MichiganBands.com congratulates everyone involved on a very successful endeavor! Good health, good music and good times to all!
