 First, Michiganbands.com would like to give Big Thanks to All The Bands who drove from all over the state to perform at Frogapalooza, did it all on time (without any bitching) and treated everybody with respect and graciousness. We are humbled by your support, your professionalism and your endless well of talent. Special Thanks to Space Nelson, Sonic Disturbance, Radiocraft, 83rd Dream and The All Stars (yes, I said The All Stars) for donating cash and goodies to the cause. • Big Thanks and Big Hugs to Fish and Molly for being there to support us in our time of need (Fish, I would be buried in a laundry pile of MB T-Shirts if it wasn't for your merch-table genius! And Molly, thanks for working with what we had!). • Big Thanks to Brad @ Bullfrog for being such an attentive host (we were never in need of anything). Big thanks to the Bullfrog Security and Wait Staff who made sure everyone was safe and happy. • Big Thanks to Soundman Mike for making all the bands sound their best and doing it all with a nod and a smile (there were many compliments from the musicians). Big Thanks To Guitar Center (Canton) for donating a drum-set for the bands to use. You made our lives and set-up so much easier and more efficient! Finally, Big Thanks To Everyone Who Attended Frogapalooza and to everyone else who made this 3-day, 27 band marathon possible and successful. We hope we didn't forget anyone (it's been a very long weekend) but if we did we give thanks to you too!

I really dug the line-up over the weekend. I got to see quite a few bands that I hadn't seen before - or had only seen once before...plus some tried & true favorites. I gotta thank Jeff for the dance(???) - not quite sure what to call it but I was laughing so hard I could barely breathe! And to Suzie - thanks for Barracuda - I was looking forward to that all day long!
Made some really good networking contacts as well.....looks like I'll be even busier soon!
It was great running into so many people - and also putting some faces with the names we've been reading for so long!
Thanks Mitch & Rick for doin' what you do. And Brad, great bar, great burgers & great service (and no, I'm NOT doing the raffle!!!)! I heard alot of positive comments about the sound as well - Mike was incredible! |

Someone had to ask...
I had a great time, the only downside for me was I was not able to be there longer this weekend. There is a lot of talent out there, and a semi-regular showcase is something that would be good for all of us.
Michigan Bands and the Bullfrog deserve a great big thumbs up for all the work they did this weekend so we could get out a do what we love, Play Live on a Quality Stage.

I was very impressed by all the bands and excited to see a few for the first time. It was great to finally meet so many of you especially Rick and Mitch! and thank you to everyone who took really good care of me, especially Mitch and Molly. it was a long day, so it was well appreciated!
made some new friends, saw some old ones, had a great time in the process. my butt was a little sore after all that sitting, but i can't complain with a front row unobstructed seat like that all day!!!
