| Be Sure To Check Out Michigan Monster |
Hello fellow band heads,
For the last year we've been working on a new website for the Michigan music community. In a nutshell it's a social media site like Myspace or Facebook. The primary purpose is to bring Michigan fans and artists together in one spot. The site allows artists to post music and media. Friends and Fans can join too and network with the community. Indie artists can upload their music and videos and even sell songs like Itunes and SnoCap if they choose. Cover bands are encouraged to sign up too.
You can check out the site and signup for a profile here:

| Flipping the Pig albums on iTunes |
fthep writes The Flipping The Pig albums My Heroic Cadences (2008) and You Get The Idea (2007) have just been released on iTunes (both albums can be purchased for the price of one).
21 tracks total, there's a playfulness characteristic of this musical chameleon's grab bag of pop/rock tricks. Whatever you're listening to at the moment, you can be sure that something else lurks around the corner.

We just got this from Suzie Ferro of Radiocraft and wanted to repost it as soon as possible:
"Well, I've never planned a fundraiser before, but I'm giving it my best (along with the help of the entire Alcini Family & some incredible friends - many thanks!!) - & with very little time. Please see the attached flyer advertising the fundraiser I am planning for my friend Lisa Medina. Please read her story - it is both heartbreaking & uplifting. I hope many of you can come - she is a worthy cause! And hey - it will be fun!! Every day, new things are added to the event, but this is what I have up to this point. "

| What Happened In Vegas Prime St. Andrews For Never Shout Never |
Took my daughter and a friend down to St. Andrews Hall on the 29th to see Never Shout Never (managing to score an autographed shirt from Christopher Drew - I thought Emily was going to faint when she saw it) and caught the opening set of local boys What Happened In Vegas (Warren, MI) who primed the sold-out house, composed mostly of teenage girls and their parents who waited patiently in the back of the room. The boys were lavished with post-performance attention, snapping pics and autographing swag for the freshly pubescent nubiles who swore a blood-oath to follow them to their gig at The Oakland Mall food court on January 14th, 2010.
